Web Design FAQ
I have received hundreds if not thousands of questions about web design and web development since 2003. At this point I can answer most questions from my experience immediately. Some questions really depend on your current website so I would have to see your website before answering any questions. Feel free to call and ask me any questions you might have about web design and web development mom happy to chat even if you’re another web developer or web designer I have collaborated on many projects.
Yes, in order for your website to be accessible on the Internet you need a computer or more accurately a Web server connected to the Internet that will process and deliver web pages to the Internet.
There are many website builders out there that try and make it easy for an average person to build a website. Like anything else in life you’re going to get what you pay for. If you want to spend hours trying to learn how to use those website builders you might be able to build a simple website yourself but there are so many things that I do such as error checking, file compression, multi-browser testing, mobile and tablet testing, site map creation, etc. the list goes on for a long time. There’s an old saying “you don’t know what you don’t know”.
No, I prefer my clients to own their domain name and pay for themselves. It costs around $12 per year.
If you look at my reviews everywhere you will see I have an excellent reputation. You will be able to move to another host and I will even help you do it if you like. I always want my clients to be happy and successful with their website.
